An accomplished mission
After a gruelling 12hours of marching and live firing, i finally completed my CSB! Jus for those who dun understand the meaning of CSB, it stands for Combat Skills Badge. To earn this particular badge, one needs to complete the following:1. Route March 32km in FULL BATTLE ORDER with River Crossing (which get you totally wet from head to toe)
2. Achieve a minimum of 6/10 shots on target at the 100m range ( after the 32km march)
3. Pass all weapon handling tests and relevant tests
4. Achieve IPPT silver/ gold
On thurs 2200, we started the march. At 19th km, we did the crossing of fiver before continuing on our remaining 13km. The whole march, though have time constraint, was pretty light- hearted.
Was talkin to Jackson and i found out that we actually have a common fren! ~Boonhan. Oso talked to Dez and Andy. haha..Andy made a comment about me: U dun really care about the speed at which we go, but u will reach the end together with the platoon & u ALWAYS have food when u march! haha... Kokwei also talked cock with us lol..
PS Vincent was great! He gave us sweets at the start of our march, quoted by him: lu4 tu2 yao2 yuan3. At the range he bought drinks for EACH and EVERYONE of us. So nice of him really.
Had a parade today under the SUPER HOT sun. Eeks.. cannot march properly oso. DISASTER. Receive a present from PC for completing CSB.
