Taipei Day 3 (Part 1): CKS Memorial Hall
Taipei Day 3 (Part 1): CKS Memorial HallWe began our day by having breakfast in the hotel ( finally). After that, we sat MTR to CKS station to visit a famous landmark in Taipei- CKS Memorial Hall. It was really very grand and there was a carnival that time. The weather was sunny and our morning was spent there admiring the structures and scenery.

Taipei Day 2
Taipei Day 2: A day @ Leofoo VillageWe woke up super early that morning in order to catch the earlier bus to leofoo village. Breakfast was not consumed in the hotel. Instead it was bought from a roadside stall near our bus stop. It was a simple lean meat congree with pork floss.
In the end, we did not sit the bus but instead took a cab there. Altogether, we spent NT3300 on our transport and entrance fee.

Taipei Day 1
Taipei Day 1: A haPPy hOlidaY21st Sept 2006 marks my virgin trip to Taiwan with 2 of my platoonmates KS and JC. This is a very much anticipated trip as we had been planning it before Atec.
Also, it was very first time travelling in a Buget Airline and i do not have very high expectations about it.
I always believe in " A picture paints a thousand words" so i shall explain my journey with aid of the photos taken there.
1. the friendly jetstar crew and co- pilot :)
-they are a very hyper and "on" bunch of people!
2. last minute dinner on board as we wanted to try the food!
-it was not too bad, i like the noodles!
3. a whole long row of motorcycles.
-this is a unusual phenomenon in singapore!
4. the famous "Ah-Zong" mian4 xian4 in Taipei XimenDing!
-i gave a thumbs up for that :)
5. the 3 of us with Ximending as the background :)
-we took this photo ourselves!
6. KS and me at the front of XimenDing :)
-i think that the background looks nice :)
That concludes our first day in Taipei. Looking forward to the next 4 days!

A meaningful job & a nice movie!
A meaningful job & a nice movie!
Daddy is admitted to hospital today for food poisoning.
It is until today that i really truly admired the nurses for their dedication to their work. It is really not easy being a nurse, let alone a good one. Oh and my auntie was a senior staff nurse before working in the intensive care unit. I salute them.
Given today is Children's Day, i foresee that every other cinema in town will be flooded so i see absolutely no point in watching movie there. Either you dont get a good seat or you compromise the time of the movie. I chose Great World City for its near proximity to town, yet the number of people there is not that much and of course its name as GV GRAND.
Before the movie, me and KS went for lunch then to the arcade for some games. We played table hockey, racing, drums, basketball, fireman and catch-the-ball game. It was quite funny as we sort of played all the games for fun and some yielded disastrous results.
Rob-B- Hood was a hilarious movie! The action was nice, baby was cute and the plot is funny. Go watch it!
Anyway, children's day 2006 was spent with KS this year. How funny.
HAPPY CHILDREN'S DAY TO ALL!
