Army Days!
Army Days!I will just omit the days of Tekong, as i believe that most recruits experience almost the same things there and then.
I shall start from the day i entered my unit.
A lift from my classmate saved me from the hassle of walking all the way in to the camp. It was 'deadly embedded' and was relatively inaccessible.
Lugging all my belongings, we gathered in the hall where we were split into our respective companies, followed by platoons. Our first book in timing was 2200 and at that time, this booking in time was heavenly.
*Blah Blah Blah* = loads of outfields, exercises, cleaning and maintainance
I don’t really know why but there is always topics to talk about amongst my platoonmates even though we see each other everyday during our service and even now after we ORD, there is still loads to talk about.
That’s what I enjoy and treasure.
What i really miss:
What i really miss:I miss my childhood days where there are no worries and troubles ...
I miss the times my aunty bring me to Leng Kee CC to play with "machine" ...
I miss Mrs Yeo's pinching of my cheeks ...
I miss my organ lessons i used to have every friday ...
I miss the days where I slept on mattresses instead of beds ...
I miss the good friends i made in RV ...
I miss the feeling when i step on the red carpet when i got my award ...
I miss my student times in Hwa Chong ...
I miss Huang Cheng ...
I miss UN Competition ...
I miss S- Geog Lessons (only) ...
I miss the time before enlistment ...
I miss the "ORD days" before my actual ORD ...
I miss "the person"

This list just goes on indefinately...
Update!
Update! To all my readers out there, sorry for the long delay in my blog updates. Some friends of mine kept calling me to update and I am indeed sorry for haven’t done so … …
28 April 2007
Friday evening was spent watching movie with Kenny. We watched “ Meet the Robinsons”-3D! My first 3D experience was quite bad as at that time 3D glasses were those orange and green type. But, this time round, the glasses looked great! They looked normal and I was pretty amazed by the effects.
It was a pretty nice movie (quite touching also) though is only a cartoon. Kenny watched it like 3 times! Hah. But all in 2D format. The movie ticket cost $10.50! Nowadays, movie prices are expensive…
Vivo was very near the place I worked but so I will try to avoid going there after working hours. However, it is still a nice place to chit- chat. Still remember Yin Xiang had an outing there and the session was pretty fun. And an hour was dedicated to talking cock in vivo. Hah.
I received this email from Chun Kit that there is a Nike sale going on and I decided to go take a look! I called Kenny to accompany me and he did! Thanks so much man! But I saw nothing I fancy. Then we went arcade where we played Mario Cart game. I went to take a look at the LONG doughnut queue and true enough it was LONG. Hah.
Anyway, thanks Kenny for accompanying me to Suntec and do remember our ice- cream cone prize for the correct answer to the unanswered question. Shall see who gets the ice- cream.
Looking forward to next week! A 4-day week!
Mother’s day was spent relatively fruitfully this year, with celebrations lasting 2 days on both Friday and Saturday. On Friday evening, we had a mini- buffet at Aunty Karen’s house. Though it was a short dinner, it was very cosy and I believe that everyone enjoyed a lot.
Saturday:
I had driving lesson (module 31: trial test below 30 points). I did relatively well and passed that lesson. J After the session at 4.20pm, it was raining catties and doggies! My driving instructor was such a nice person! He offered to drive me to the nearest MRT station since it was his last lesson and he will be passing by the MRT station as well.
Family dinner was at Happy Joy Restaurant. It was quite an “old” place but with supposingly ‘kbox’ facilities. Much to our amusement, the changing of songs was done manually! And it totally lagged like hell. Haha. Food was quite ok, not exceptionally nice though.
Last week (14-18 May) passed rather normally… …
Talking about doughnuts! I love the Donut Factory Donuts! The queue was VERY long, and I mean it. It was divided into 3 sections and my sister queued for 3 hrs before getting the doughnuts. Hah.
Yesterday, 20th May, Bingyi and me queued for the donuts again! Hah. It was fantastic. Met up with BY, WY and dearest Zuee yesterday. It had been so long since we had such outing! I really missed them a lot. But I guess, given our BUSY schedule, it will be quite difficult for us to meet up that often … …
This sat is Hwa Chong’s Hui Qing! Will be meeting my deeearest XinwEi and deareeest YuExIn! Xinwei went Taiwan! And Yuexin will alsobe going soon…
Anyway, I shall end for now.
All the best people!!!
Love ya!
